Gramin Dak Sevak Previous Year Question Paper downloads. Gramin Dak Sevak, which is also known as Indian Postal Department recruits candidates every year via the Gramin Dak Sevak exam. This exam offers the highest number of vacancies record in the postal department. Once the candidates cleared the exam, they will become the part of the Indian Postal Service. The number of vacancies offered by this exam, in year 2017 is 55,000.

AGE LIMIT: Candidates must be in between 18-40 years of age. There is an age relaxation for SC (5 Years), ST (5 Years) and OBC (3 Years)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: The minimum qualification a candidate must possess in order to become eligible for the exam is a degree up to Matriculation/ 10th Pass.
The knowledge for Computer Usage is also must.

For getting selected in the merit list of this exam, they must score good marks in their 10th Class. The merit list will develop on the basis of the class 10th score. There is no recruitment exam for deriving final list of selection.
Preference of the rank in the merit list will be given to ST female, SC female, OBC female, UR female, ST male, SC male, OBC male, and then UR male respectively, when the candidates score same number in their 10th.

APPLICATION FEE: UR male and OBC male have to pay INR 100 as the application fee, whereas SC male/female, ST male/female and OBC/UR females do not need to pay anything for the applying to the recruitment process.

The candidates need to go to the official website and register themselves via the application form and they receive their respective registration number, they can apply directly through it, relative to the state they belong to.
