L.K. Advani Biography and history. LAl Krishna Advani is a very famous Indian Politician and also the 7th Deputy Prime Minister of India, recently serving as the senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Mr. Advani is born on 8 November 1927, in Karachi. Lal krishna advani caste in a Hindu Sindhi family. Mrs. Kamla Advani wife is having a son, Jayant and a daunghter, Pratibha from her. Mrs. Kamla Advani died on 6th April 2016. He completed his schooling in Karachi itself. He enrolled in DG National College in Hyderabad, Sindh.

Finally during partition he migrated to India with his family, and completed his graduation in Laws from Government Law College of the Bombay University. He started his career in politics by initially joining the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) where he worked as a full time volunteer (Pracharak), in Karachi. He worked for the same party, later, in Rajasthan state of India too, until 1952. Mr. Advani’s daughter is Pratibha Advani.

Later, he joined Bharatiya Jana Sangh political party as a General Secretary in Rajasthan. Next he moved to the Delhi Unit of Jana Sangh party, and became the President of the Delhi Unit of the Jana Sangh. In 1970, he became the member of Rajya Sabha from Delhi. Later, the members of Jana Sangh quit the Janata Party and formed a new party known as Bharatiya Janata Party of which Mr. Advani became the prominent leader and represented the party in Rajya Sabha from M.P.
